Rotary Cubbonpark Trust Launches Mobile GI Health Initiative

In August 2025, Rotary Cubbonpark Trust, in collaboration with Bangalore Gastro Centre, launched a Mobile Gastrointestinal (GI) Health Initiative aimed at expanding access to specialized digestive healthcare across rural and underserved communities in Karnataka. Backed by the Infosys Foundation and the Government of Karnataka’s Department of Health and Family Welfare, the project deploys four fully equipped mobile medical units featuring advanced diagnostic tools such as endoscopy and colonoscopy systems for on-site screening and early detection of GI disorders. Designed to address healthcare access gaps, the units provide free consultations, diagnostics, and follow-up care in coordination with local Primary Health Centres, doctors, and Rotary clubs, bringing critical medical services directly to patients who would otherwise face significant barriers to care.
